How to Invite Connections to Follow Your LinkedIn Company Page

Yes, LinkedIn is now allowing page admins to invite connections to follow the company pages that they manage. This feature of LinkedIn is available! It’s really great news for LinkedIn Company Page Admins with the new feature, which allows them to invite a number of connections to follow their LinkedIn company pages so they could grow their follower base quickly.

LinkedIn was started on 5th May 2003 to transform the way that business professionals connect worldwide. LinkedIn has become a powerful platform to manage your brand, grow the business, and generate leads through the implementation of content sharing, groups, paid advertisements, and other features.

LinkedIn pages (can share all your company updates without disturbing your profile) are the greatest ways to represent your business with a professional tone. You must have found many options over the internet to grow your LinkedIn Page’s follower, but it’s better to get an alternative to do this and provided by LinkedIn itself. Certainly, there is a new feature that you can use to grow your page’s followers if you’re an admin of the page. This particular feature of LinkedIn enables you in inviting your connections to like your page. However, this feature is only manageable by the admin in LinkedIn.

What this feature offers?

You, as a business owner, can directly invite several connections from your LinkedIn network. This new feature to invite connections to follow your LinkedIn company page is restricted upon being the Admin of only one company page.

Two different ways such as Inbound and Outbound are crucial for getting clients on LinkedIn. Inbound marketing is a way in which you have to publish content on your profile by hoping that your connections will view the post and then will engage and interact with it. Outbound marketing is another way of earning clients. Thus, you receive “intro messages” in your inbox of people trying to sell you services, scheduling a call, and more daily.

Have a look at the step-by-step guide to invite your LinkedIn connections to follow your company page!

 1. Login to LinkedIn

Go to www.linkedin.com by using a desktop or laptop and log in to your account using your username and password.

2. Navigate to your Company Page

Search for your company page in the search bar, which is there on the top of the logged-in page. If you cannot find it on the desktop, click on the ‘Me’ icon, which is available in the top right of your screen.

*Note: If you are still not able to see your company page, or you are not an admin in LinkedIn, you may contact LinkedIn for assistance.

3. Select ‘Admin tools’ and choose ‘Invite Connections’

On the right-hand side of the window, you’ll be able to see the ‘Admin Tools’ section. Click on this button to see more options.

*Note: If you cannot see this menu item that means your account may not have been updated yet to include this feature. In this case, you need to update your account first, and then check back in a few days – LinkedIn after that seems to be slowly rolling this feature out across accounts.

4. Choose Contacts you wish to invite

You will now be accessible to your contact lists, especially those who do not currently follow your page. Select those persons you would like to invite (up to 50 per day). It is recommended setting yourself a little reminder each morning to invite another 50 members for quicker results.

The search bar at the top of the window also enables you to search for specific people, which is helpful if you have a large number of connections, and you want to invite specific people. And, those people will receive a notification that you have invited them to follow your page. If they accept, they’ll become a follower!
